What is the shipping cost?
We offer free delivery for online orders of $50 or over throughout New Zealand. Orders of less than $50 will incur a $5 delivery fee.
Shipping to Australia is available for $30 to most Metropolitan areas. We will be in touch if your delivery address is outside of these zones.
When will my order arrive?
Most orders are received within 2 working days of the order being placed. We will advise you as soon as possible if there is a delay on an item you have ordered.
Please allow an extra 1-2 days for delivery if paying by Internet banking.
Rural deliveries can take an extra 2-3 working days or can be delivered to the nearest Post Shop if more convenient.
A 2-hour PACE courier option is available for deliveries within Central Auckland.
To use this service please select the 2 hour Pace delivery button in the checkout page.
Two-hour delivery will only be available Monday-Friday for orders received between 9am-4pm.
Orders placed outside these hours with this option selected will be delivered on the next working day.
A charge of $20- applies for this service.

Do I need to be home when my order arrives?
All orders require a signature on delivery and are shipped using CourierPost Signature Required track and trace courier packs. If there is no one to sign for the package when the courier driver calls, they will leave a card to call with details for redelivery. A non-signature required option is also available on request, if you would prefer this service please stipulate this in the Notes field in the Cart page.
How can I track my order?
Your track and trace number will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched. To track your order, have your track and trace number handy and either call CourierPost on 0800 COURIER or visit www.courierpost.co.nz.

What is your Returns policy?
You are welcome to return your online purchase for an exchange or store credit. Simply print and fill in the Returns form and return it with your order. We will do the rest!
All items are to be returned in new/unworn condition in their original packaging.

Where do diamonds come from?
The vast majority of the world's diamonds are now mined in Russia, Australia and several African countries such as Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zaire and Sierra Leone. Once the diamonds are extracted, approximately 80% pass through the hands of De Beers and on to the cutting centres of Antwerp, New York and Tel Aviv. From here diamonds may take a number of different channels before being set into a piece of jewellery.
Are Walker & Hall diamonds conflict free?
Diamonds offered for sale by Walker and Hall have been purchased from legitimate sources not implicated in funding conflict and are in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Walker and Hall endorses and follows the Kimberly Process and hereby guarantee that our diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the suppliers of these diamonds.

Secondly, our own in house gemologist regularly checks the quality of our diamonds before they are sent to an independent gemologist where they are colour graded. Does jewellery from Walker & Hall come with a guarantee?
Walker & Hall guarantee our diamond and fine jewellery has been made to the highest standards of quality and workmanship. For the life of the piece, we will repair or replace any item without charge, including missing diamonds or precious stones, if we deem that the loss is due to faulty materials or workmanship. We also guarantee the accurate carat weight and quality representations of your stone and the gold content of your mounting as stated in your valuation document.
Conditions of Diamond & Quality Guarantee
The guarantee covers the original purchaser of the item as defined by the Diamond Club Membership details provided at the time of the purchase and does not cover subsequent owners of the jewellery.
The item must be inspected at 12 month intervals by an authorised Walker & Hall staff member at a Walker & Hall store with the details of each inspection being recorded on the Jewellery Care & Service record.
Any comments/required maintenance entered by the Walker & Hall staff member on the Jewellery Care & Service record must be carried out at the time of the inspection and recorded as completed on the record.
Any repair, maintenance or alteration of the item must be carried out by Walker & Hall or a jeweller authorised by Walker & Hall.
When making a claim under this warranty the full and original Jewellery Care & Service record must be provided for examination by Walker & Hall.
General wear and tear or damage caused by misuse is not covered by this guarantee. Walker & Hall reserve the right in its sole discretion to determine the cause of the loss or damage for any claim under this guarantee.
This guarantee does not apply to Vintage or Estate jewellery items.
The Diamond & Quality Guarantee provided Walker & Hall is in addition to your existing rights at law and does not affect your existing rights at law.
What kind of after sales service can I expect from Walker & Hall?
At Walker & Hall we provide a free ring cleaning service recommended every two to three months to make your diamonds shine like new. We recommend that you visit one of our stores every 12 to 18 months for a complimentary check on the security of your setting.
Walker & Hall are proud to offer exclusive complimentary benefits with diamond ring purchases. Complimentary fitting and services are available for the particular ring as detailed in Purchase Details on the Jewellery Care & Service record. Ensure your ring fits perfectly with our complimentary ring fitting. Some rings may need to be made especially in your size so please visit us as soon as possible with the ring in new condition.
