Walker & Hall offers a safe and convenient place to sell your unwanted fine jewellery. Our registered second hand jewellery dealers can assist with the accurate submission of your jewellery details from any of our locations. In many cases, we can offer both trade in and cash purchase options so you can select the best outcome for you.

HOW IT WORKS

Step one:
Visit one of our stores in Auckland, Tauranga or Wellington.

Step two:
Bring your unwanted jewellery in with any documentation you have - previous valuations and receipts are not required but can be helpful and may assist in maximising the offer we can make you.

Step three:
Make sure you also have valid photographic ID, for example a driver's licence or passport with you.

Step four:
Our in store expert will submit detailed information about your jewellery to our Registered Second Hand Jewellery buyer.

Step five:
We will offer a favourable trade in price and a cash price where applicable so you can consider the right option for you. Prices are calculated on current rates and are valid for that day only.
In some circumstances we may need to refer your piece/s to our Head Office for further assessment before we can provide price options to you.

Step six:
If you accept our trade in offer, we will set up your credit and you can shop in store for your new signature piece immediately.
If you accept a cash purchase offer, we will transfer payment to you by bank transfer to your nominated bank account within 5 working days.

Important information when selling your jewellery

You must be the legal owner of the jewellery. We are unable to purchase if the jewellery belongs to a friend or family member, or has been found.

You will need to present valid photo identification in order to complete the transaction.

You will need to provide a valid NZ bank account for payment to be transferred to.

Please be aware that we do not always make an offer to buy or trade based on a number of factors. In particular, costume jewellery and jewellery made by Michael Hill Jeweller will not be considered for purchase.
