Using your Gemselect card

Once your claim value has been confirmed and you have received your new GemSelect card, you will need to activate the GemSelect card at least 24 hours prior to using it in store.

Your GemSelect card will be loaded with the value of your claim and will be used like an electronic gift card with a reducing balance.

Your GemSelect card can be used in any Walker & Hall store.

Gemselect Terms & Conditions

• All purchases are processed at the normal full retail price. Our Tax Free service is not available with GemSelect purchases.

• Purchase limit of $5,000 per jewellery item and $2,500 per watch item.

• Card values may not be exchanged for cash, services or bullion.

• Cards are valid for 12 months from time of activation.

• Gemselect card payments are not able to be refunded.

Purchasing Online 
If you already have a Gem Visa you can make your purchase online right now and receive 6 months interest free* on all purchases of $250 or more. Please select Credit Card as the payment option in the checkout.

For purchases of $499 or more online, we offer 12 months interest free and 18 months interest free with Gem Visa. Please select Gem as the payment option in the checkout for 12 or 18 months interest free.

Purchasing in store
When purchasing in store we also offer 12 or 18 months interest free on purchases $750 and over up to $15,000^. A minimum deposit of 10% is required.  Ask for details in store or contact us now. 

Don’t have a Gem Visa?

Applying online is quick and easy through the Gem Visa website. You will need to be 18 years and over, be a permanent resident of NZ and be able to supply a passport or drivers licence, income and expense details, employer's name and details and an email address.

Purchasing Online 
If you already have a Q Card you can make your purchase online right now and receive at least 3 months no payments and no interest* on your purchase when using it as a standard credit card. Please select 'Credit Card' as the payment option in the checkout.

On promotional days (as advertised from time to time) you could get an extended Payment Holiday period. 
For longer term finance when purchasing online please select the Q Card payment option in the checkout and a member of our team will be in touch to finalise your purchase.

Purchasing in store
When purchasing in store we also offer long term finance options on purchases $499 and over, up to $15,000^.  Our current offer is 12 & 18 Months Interest Free^. A minimum deposit of 10% is required. Ask for details in store or contact us now. 

Don’t have a Q Card or Q Mastercard?

Applying is easy and there are a few ways you can do this:

• Visit your nearest Walker & Hall store to complete an application in store.

• Apply online
You can complete an application online here (please note you will need a valid Driver’s Licence)
Your application will be assessed and an initial response will be provided within 5 minutes. If further details are required Q Card customer services will attempt to contact you within 2 hours.
If your application is successful you need to take this in store along with the acceptable forms of ID to make your purchase.

A Q Mastercard will then be delivered within 10 business days for your ongoing use.
