Kelly Thompson Collaboration
Walker & Hall are excited to showcase an exclusive collaboration with renowned illustrator and creative consultant Kelly Thompson. The collaboration features two limited edition collections and a one-off stunning six carat diamond ring.
The first collection titled #70, for the decade of inspiration for the range, is available in both sterling silver and gold plated, and has been designed as feature pieces that you can dress up or down for day or evening wear. The circular forms and graphic lines create an elegant range with a timeless quality that is sure to become a jewellery essential.
The second collection titled #20, is a truly luxurious set, which celebrates the glamour and exuberance of the 1920s art deco scene. With 18ct yellow gold and rose cut black diamonds featured throughout the collection, the pièce de résistance is the bracelet which showcases 12.34cts of black diamonds making it a standout piece whether worn solo or as a set for maximum impact.
And the most decadent piece in the collection has to go to the incredible design of the six carat ring boasting a stunning tanzanite set in 18ct yellow gold with diamond set platinum accents. An amazing piece of design with exquisite stones, this feature ring is the ultimate jewellery indulgence for the season.
Thompson, inspired by vintage 70s wallpaper patterns and Art Deco buildings describes the design of the two collections as a really rewarding process. 'I had never designed jewellery before, so to do it alongside such a creative, experienced team, who really worked with me to bring my ideas to life has been an incredible experience', says Thompson.
'I am obsessed with jewellery and love special vintage finds and larger statement pieces. The designs are very much inspired by my own aesthetic and it has been really interesting to learn about how to transform ideas into pieces that also work within timelines and manufacturing logistics.'
'It has been an extremely collaborative process and a highlight of my career - I can't wait to see people wearing the jewellery!'
