Me and my partner met when i was 18 (11 years ago) and it was love at first sight. We both knew we were into each other but the right time never seemed to come about and we didn't want to ruin our friendship. He moved oversea's and we continued to keep in touch for a couple of years. After 4 years of no contact i brought him up to my Mum one Sunday morning over breakfast at her house, saying that i missed him and that i needed someone like him in my life at this time. I left after breakfast and went down stopped at a shop down the road before heading home...and there he was! He organised to meet up for coffee and we decided to go on holiday together in his campervan he had built. He asked me out while we were away and 8 months later we are happily together and have moved into a home together in Tauranga. I'm in the best relationship i could ask for, with my best friend whom i cherish more with everyday. He makes me laugh, he makes me feel safe, he encourages me & I can honestly say he makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
