"I feel like the luckiest person in the world"

What is the most powerful symbol of romance?

To me the symbol of romance is more of a gesture, and it changes all the time! It's holding hands, a look into each other's eyes, giving up that window seat. The little things you do for your partner every single day to make their life better in every way you can.

What would be your dream romantic gesture?

I would love to be proposed to. My partner and I are lucky enough to be legally allowed to wed in New Zealand but as we are both female there is no real tradition about who should do what in our relationship! If my lady proposed to me that would make my heart sing, and I think I would then propose to her at a different time later on! Having said that, every morning we wake up together the first thing she does is roll over, give me a kiss and tell me she loves me, and I feel like the luckiest person in the world.

Share a love story.

My partner and I met many times before we got to know each other, we played sports for rival teams. I would go as far as to say we didn't like each other. This went on for years, until I had to move cities for work. As soon as we got to know each other we fell in love and things have never been the same. We now play for the same team!
