"A small Takapuna coffee shop"

What is the most powerful symbol of romance?

For me the most powerful symbol of romance isn't something of a material matter. It's the ability to exist in a moment with one another, feel the world disappear, become each others universe for that small segment of time. To me there is no stronger symbol of romance than the exchange of that moment.

What would be your dream romantic gesture?

To be taken on an adventure, to travel and share the mysteries of the world with my special someone.

Share a love story.

It's a cool Tuesday morning in July as I stood next to the coffee machine in the busy cafe I once worked. It was my day off and I had gone in for some friendly banter and a warm brew. Next thing I know I'm helping a kind, somewhat shy gentleman choose a coffee appropriate to his taste, which turned out to be quite a comical debacle as he seemed to have no idea what a barrister made coffee was. His hopeless charm grew my curiosity and I joined him for a walk on the beach. Little did I know this accidental encounter would be the begging of our life together. Four and a half years later we are happily married and share the most special love for one another... All because we took that one chance on each other years ago in a small Takapuna coffee shop.
